Registration procedure

The registration procedure is a 3-step procedure explained below.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON THE sciencesconf.org WEBSITE

All participants must register on this website in order to:

  • register themselves and any accompanying persons to the various events: EPC8 Meeting, Tours, Conference Dinner
  • submit an abstract
  • access the secure online payment site

To do this, simply click on the arrow next to "login" on the top rigth of the page    and click on "create account". Fill out the account creation form and choose a username and password.

REGISTER AT THE EPC8 CONFERENCE

 2.1. REGISTRATION ON THE EPC8 SCIENCESCONF WEBSITE

First, log on the website (see part 1). Then, go to the "My registration" page in the left menu column (under "My space"). You will find the registration form to fill out.

Registration also allows you to opt for the various conference-related activities, such as the Tours participation. You will then receive a first email with all your information.

In the next step, you will add more information regarding notably your status (student, employed, etc.).

 

2.2. FEES PAYMENT ON THE AZUR COLLOQUE WEBSITE

 Go to the "Fees payment link" in the tab on the left to access the payment form. You will arrive on a different website: Azur Colloque (CNRS payment page). You'll have a pre-registration phase first: you need to fill again information such as name, adress, status (students, employed, etc.), if you would like to book for a mid-congress tour.

 Accepted payment methods are:

  • For non-french citizens: payment by bank transfer (only in EUR) or credit card
  • For french citizens: payment by bank transfer or credit card.

Participants choosing the "payment by credit card" option must complete their registration by validating the payment. Leaving before this validation blocks the registration and it is not possible to come back to the pre-registered form, it is necessary to re-enter a new registration.

Once validating, you will receive a second e-mail with a purchase order (if you select this method of payment) with all details for your administration to make the bank transfer to finalize your registration and pay the fees. If you choose the payment by credit card, you will also receive a second email confirming your registration. Thank you!

SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT

Be sure to be logged on the website and to have used the template for the abstract available in "Abstract information" in the left column menu. Then, go to "My submission" in the left column menu (under "My space"), and click on "submit an abstract":

Page 1: Metadata
- Copy your abstract title,
- Select "oral" or "poster" presentation (you could submit 2 abstracts: one for an oral and one for a poster),
- Choose a symposium. This is mandatory for the review process. You should select 2 symposia: the main symposium + a second one.

Page 2: Author(s)
- Add authors with the blue option "Add an author (+)" next to the title "Author(s)",
- You may add an affiliation by clicking below author's name "Add an affiliation...",
- You can edit or erase an author with the pen or the cross next to the name on the right hand side.

Page 3: File(s)
- Upload your abstract by clicking on "Parcourir..." to select the file and then "Upload" button. The file will be transformed in pdf.
- Check the pdf by clicking on the file. If necessary, you may erase the file by clicking on the cross on the right and you can then re-upload a file.
- Do not add supplementary files.

Page 4: Overview
- Check your submission before clicking on "Submit".
- If you would like to submit a second abstract, you need to start from the beginning again!

If you have any issue with the affiliation or authors in sciencesconf, be sure that it is correct on the abstract pdf and please notify us at epc8@sciencesconf.org
